Long time Dr Pepper enthusiast Wilton Lanning stands near the front entrance to the famous Dr Pepper museum located in downtown Waco. Lanning and a few others developed the Artesian Manufacturing and Bottling Company building which became the Dr Pepper Museum in 1989, then the Dr Pepper Museum and Free Enterprise Institute in 1997.
